It's been said by many people but I've just got to add my two cents to the chorus. Am listening to him now and he's great.

Bob Shannon ( with George Mccrae Rock Your Baby starting up): So you parents who are having trouble calming your kids, if rocking hasn't done the trick just look them directly in the eye. Yeah, a new study shows that looking your baby in the eye will calm them. Oh, your kid just poked you in the eye. Well, I didn't say there wouldn't be repercussions from it.

Yes, Bob's a great jock. I've always enjoyed his "Behind The Hits" factoids. If you listen regularly and you also frequent these industry boards (and the BTH board), you may notice how he throws little asides from the posts into his banter. Things that the regular listener may chuckle at without knowing or understanding the inference, and it doesn't take away from them enjoying the show.

Just one critque. After more than a month "back," Shannon is still experiencing some annoying feedback when he opens his microphone. I can't be the only one who has noticed this!
