Good for them! I don't listen very often but I think they do a great job.
I have to give Bob credit for 2 things. One was he saw talent in Shari and paid her out of his own pocket for awhile to be on the show. He knows that she saved his bacon, things were not going well before she got there. Two: Bob is a survivor. He has been in that building since the early '70's when he did nights on WBT, then PM Magazine on WBTV and finally 107.9 though it's various changes. I've never met the man but few are able to stay in one place that long!
Shari is a riot, she's got some great stories that I hope she puts in a book one day! Don't try to get in a battle of wits with her, she's very sharp. I think Bob's job is to reign her in sometimes and get the show back on track. Whatever they do it works. You can't put any 2 people together and get this kind of result. I just wonder how long until they age out of the demographic?

Bob is actually (only?) 63, but the point is valid...you wouldn't necessarily know it by listening to the show.
