Bob & Sherry, Buh-bye?

Sherri's blog entry today features a statement of "Why we're not on your station anymore." It's generic, mentioning no station names, but the timing makes it obvious.
 
wow now maybe venus can be a decent station. i was beginning to think that that station was going to be all talk. all they did was talk on that station. now if lulu and trish can play more music and talk less then they might have a good station.

I don't miss Bob and Sherri (try WUHU 107.1, if you can tune them in). I want music! And I wish they'd cut the chatterboxes in the afternoon (Lulu and Trish). Keep 'em on, but they need to shut up once in a while. This morning, they played about 3 or 4 good songs in a row. (Getting burned out on Jack-FM a little bit).

It would be the third try for Rick and Bubba. I don't count the move from WKDF to WGFX as a second try on WGFX because it was because of a format change on WKDF and they are owned by the same company.

If a show fails on a good signal; You shouldn't put the show on a signal that isn't as good and hope for better results.

I'm kind of liking V102.5. First time I've liked anything Cromwell's done in this town since they exited their country/rock format years ago (although the music on Buzz is sounding a whole lot tighter, I just don't care for it). If only Lulu and Trish could lose the astrology love charts and similar bits, and just talk up the music and throw in a little news, traffic, and weather, I could even stand keeping them around.
 
Playlist looks pretty decent. Is Chad Blake still on evenings? Need to be local and they'll have a much improved format. I look forward to
listening. Are they totally going away from Venus and the push toward women? Looks like they're getting more and more in the direction
of 96.5 The Mountain musically. I have to admit, I just never paid any attention to what they were recently. Is this a good move or
will it hurt WBUZ. Lookin' bright. Signal seems to sound worse every week. B&S in favor of music....go figure. John King is climbing the
mountain.

I sure have noticed that the girls in the afternoon are talking less than before. I'm hearing more music on 102.5 in the afternoons than at any time in the recent past. It sounds like Cromwell has enlisted the help of somebody who knows what they are doing to help with the programming side of the station. Music sounds much better too.

If "John's Buddies" are great people and available, then what's wrong with that? I would trust John not to steer one into a bad situation.
 
Yeah. No problem with that. That's why I was asking about Kim and Dean. I was really wondering if Jeff Lyon would get back on the air. He had a killer night show at citadel.
