Frank Rizzone Randal..Binghamton NY in the early to mid 70s...

I knew him as Don Daniels. We worked together at WACM-fm in the Poconos from 1976-77. Don was the morning guy; I was just cutting my teeth in the business at the time and did the 6-hour overnight shift. I'd hang around for a few hours afterward and pretty soon Don worked me into his morning routines.

A great guy -- and what a set of pipes!

When I had gotten antsy about movin' on to bigger and better things, Don connected me with a friend of his named Steve O'Brian (real last name escapes me) who was PD at WOND in Atlantic City. I got the midday gig -- thanks as much to Don as anything else.

Sorry to say when I left Atlantic City I lost touch with Steve who was my connection to Don. So I don't know what happened to him after WACM/Freeland, PA.

If you find out more, I'd love to hear.

Don Daniels went to WNBF in Binghamton as the PD for a number of years. Later he was working in Denver.
WNBF-PD Roger Neil knows where he is and talks to him frequently. If you contacted Roger, I'm sure he'd help you get in contact with Don. As far as Jay Roberts, I don't know that anyone has heard from him in awhile. Again, Roger would probably know where he is. I worked with Don & Jay and they were both great guys.

Can you tell me how to contact Roger? It would be a gas to talk to Don again!

Thanks.

WNBF's main number is 607.772.8400 Neely's on air mornings from 5a-9a. Outside of that you should be able to reach him.

I worked with Don Daniels Sumple in Lansford, PA at WLSH back in 1975-76. Great guy! We'd grab chow after work and listen to WLS!

Bob Snyder is my father , he was a great man and continued in radio and tv until his death in 1996. He was best known in the delmarva area (salisbury , md) and is buried there.
