Bob the Producer and Two Angry Guys.

Bob the Producer is returning to radio, albeit for a weekly 10-minute spot on Friday evenings. He'll be on ClassX right after Wildman Walker's 4-6pm show is over.

The "Two Angry Guys" (Tom Gamble, Richard Skinner) are in discussions to do a weekly podcast together. They mentioned it in their online chat on Cincinnati.com yesterday. I can't see them doing radio again, other than Skinner helping with NKU Basketball broadcasts, if he's still doing that.

Glad to hear Bob back on the air again, even if only for a few minutes each week. It is a shame what Clear Channel has done to WEBN.

Speaking of WEBN,What's the deal with CC contracting out this year's River fest fireworks soundtrack to Cleveland? How cheap is that?

You know, friends, in their fight for more ratings, some of these guys just don't get the fact that what you got is all you're going to get.
They dink around, fire people, ruin the lives of their staff, only to lose points.
You'd think that they would check some stats, ethnic breakdowns or comps and realize that a certain format will only get you so many listeners. Then, work hard to connect with those listeners so that your advertisers get results. Keep an eye on expenses and enjoy your profits.
It is what it is.

Joel Moss did a great job on that soundtrack for 26 years. Sad to see what CC did to that heritage station in the name of the almighty dollar.
