Bob & Tom TV Ads

One TV ad says, "I didn't pee on the stick." Another says, "Somebody pooped in my pants."
I have lived long enough that I am not shocked or offended. But, I don't get it. How is it funny
when this comes out of the mouths of middle aged men?

These ads aren't working!

Are these ads for the radio show or the tv show? Is this Donnie Baker character new? Their tv show is entertaining except when they bring that character in.

Donnie Baker is when Bob and Tom jumped the shark, IMO. Not funny, never been funny. People who think that is funny probably drive old beat up Camaros and chug Budweisers until they get kicked out of the bar.

The ads in question are for the TV show on WTTV and WGN.

The ads must work for both their radio and TV show. Overnights show the Bob and Tom show on WTTV 4 beating WRTV 6 News at 11am from time to time. Great for WTTV and Bob and Tom. Sad for WRTV. The Fall '08 Market Report will be out 1/22/09, so we'll see how the radio side is holding up. Trends show Bob and Tom still on top.

Donnie works. Not really my favorite cup of coffee either, but you can't argue with success.

If WISH and WTHR were both off the air at 11pm, I'm not sure if WRTV's news would win the ratings for the night. If I'm looking for news on Sunday night and the football games ran late on WISH and WTHR, I'll just go to bed.
