Anyone know what's up with KTWL? The phones have been disconnected.
 
I heard that Bob got fired, which may hit his family pretty hard. Jack, his cousin, seems to be a little better off and still is employed for the time being.

The real Bob, in Austin, is doing fine (and sounds better than JACK in Houston; not as compressed and cleaner)....maybe the Bob at KTWL was from the rotten side of the family :)
 
Yep, he was the "hindered-son".
 
But Jack in San antonio sounds better than both BobFM in Austin & JackFM in Houston.
 
And "Jack" in Sacramento, CA. sounds better than any "Jack" in the country except Los Angeles, CA! Bob got fired there a long time ago. lol lol

I had to travel to New Braunfels 2 weeks ago...could not hear Jack out of SA there....Isnt it in 99 something??? I listened to all the stations I could get...but never heard Jack out of SA....did I miss something? :)
I will say Bob's audio on 103.5 sounds GREAT...loud but clean....great dynamic range...with plenty of presence and damn clean...Houston's Jack is loud and clean...but mashed almost to the point of fatiguing...I listen to it....but the audio on 103.5 was just perfect on the same or similar songs.
 
Jack is on 102.7 in San antonio, yeah BobFM sounds really clean, they got it good. Most of Austin stations sound clean with good dynamic ranges. If you checked out KLTO they sound great also with good sound. They were off the air AGAIN. for some reason, come on if you want a rim shot rock station to work at least keep it on the air!
