Once skeptical, I must admit that on the basis of a good week for the Bobby Bones Show, I've added WSIX back to the presets for the first time in years. Hosting The Farm live in studio this morning catapulted the show into my "must keep-up-with" group of regulars. I'll have to say I bought The Farm -- that is I had previously gone to the trouble of putting down the full price for their album instead of scrounging for a promo, cherry picking cuts offa iTunes, or waiting for it to show at McKay -- so a new morning radio show that wants to impress me in its first week by bringing me The Farm gets my attention as a "must stop here" program. Hearing their music live was great enough, but when they covered Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine," I knew then that if I didn't put WSIX back on a preset, I might be in danger of missing something this good on the Bobby Bones Show in the future. Congratulations guys, you won over a skeptical, jaded old radio guy this week. Good job!
