I'm very curious what Entercom will do. WORD (actually, WYRD-FM) is mostly local from 6am-7pm other than Rush. They even do local news. With cuts happening all around the industry, it will be interesting to see what they do. Syndicated PM Drive? Or find another local guy? Ratings are really pretty incredible for 106.3, which doesn't really even have a great signal in the market.
note: Vince Coakley is actually out of WBT Charlotte, which is a simulcast for 10am-12n on WYRD-FM for those two hours. So it's just 2 stations. Now that WBT is no longer under the Entercom umbrella, I wonder if they will keep that show on the air, too.
