This suprises me...why the heck can't a station say their legal ID without screwing with it? Does cume and TSL get destroyed because somebody says a 6 second legal ID?

It's been a few weeks since I've listened to them but last time I heard an ID they belted it right on out.

I'm not suprised if it's changed though. This is the same company who once thoughg (and hell, may still, I don't know) that "101.1 Belhaven" constituted a legal ID.
______________
I recorded that ID and never heard someone say the calls that fast.
Least some of the other station id's were good to me.

You know, it used to be not so long ago that TOH ID's were the golden egg in a station's imaging package, whether it was when your "big voice guy" sounded his best and biggest, or a hyped-up high-energy jingle. A lot of stations treat it like it's a nuisance anymore. How times have changed.

Bad News, The HOT-FM is now doing the speedy ID thing. They also edited one of there ID's that it no longer includes the calls & city.

Bob's city of license is one of the smallest towns in the market. I can understand why they don't belt it out in a jingle at the top of the hour, but there's a happy medium.
______________
down here in central NC, we have WJMH 102.1 saying their legal ID so fast that they cut off the COL...the ID is dry and sounds like it was recorded so low the gate kicks in...."WJMH rie", (riedsville)
