I AM BACK WITH YET MORE INFORMATION. EVERYTIME I HAVE POSTED HERE, PLEASE GO BACK AND CHECK, MY WORDS HAVE PROVEN TRUE. SO HERE'S THE SCOOP:

HOLLYWOOD (CURRENT BOB PD) WILL BE FIRED BY THE END OF APRIL. THE STATION IS OUT OF CONTROL AND IT'S LIKE A CLUB HOUSE. NO LEADERSHIP. AND BASED ON WHAT MY INSIDE SOURCE SAYS, HOLLYWOOD IS CLUELESS TO THAT. MARK IT DOWN, HOLLYWOOD IS THE NEXT ONE ON THE NEXT MEDIA CHOPPING BLOCK. THE STATION HAS FALLEN BELOW THE LET'S GIVE HIM A CHANCE THRESH HOLD.

SORRY, BUT THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH.

Like a Clubhouse? There's only two people to manage on the staff ??? How can that be ??? I personaly know Jamie and Beaver and both are very professional and do their jobs really well and I'm sure Hollywood doesn't need to manage them. ;D Personaly I think Bob sounds better than it ever has, except for the non-local morning show (not Hollywoods decision).

One more question (I'm sure you wont answer) What constitutes a "club house" in your opinion? ???

Not being able to micro-manage? Not having total and complete control of every facit of their professional lives? Not being able to make them work an unfair amount of free events monthly? Not being able to make them understand [EDIT] logic behind working 12-16 hours a day for terrible money? Not being able to make them buy into why it's important to bow down and kiss clients asses who spend hardly ANY money on their stations? Not able to get them to understand why upper managment at Next Media rewards the wrong people? Not being able to get them to understand why sales people are more important then programing? Not getting them to realize that Eastern, NC is the LARGEST radio market (in regards to area covered by the radio stations) in the entire United states, yet they are paid the worst salaries and horrible talent fees?

Pedal your snake oil somewhere else....Those of us that have (me) or presently still work in Eastern, NC... know it's the worst market in the entire United States to work in and unless you've worked it, your opinion doesn't matter to me.

Exactly which of your predictions came true, "Scott"? I've noticed on more than one occasion you've blasted Hollywood. Why is that? What do you think it is he's doing wrong?

I have lots to say about your post. First lets start with how you orginally said wero sounds out of control and like a club house. Then in your next post after everyone jumped your a** you back peddled and said wero sounds decent. Have you heard BOB lately? BOB has never sounded better. The jocks are on point. Ace and TJ are growing and the music is more balanced than ever before. Even the imaging is the best in the market. BOB sounds 100% different than it did 3-6 months ago. Now let me comment on your first post some more. You said go back and check, my points have been proven right. Really? Ok lets see here, You said NM is selling last summer. Here is is spring and they still are not for sale and have no intentions of selling. You said Tony would never leave your guess was APD/MD Hollywood would be next. Wrong! Tony was next and Hollywood got promoted and is now the PD. You said back in October that nights on wrns and bob would be out of a gig and should start looking. WRONG! both Gare and Beaver are still with NM.

Gene called you out and told you to say who you are since you think you know everything. You reply my name is Scott. Scott who? Do you work at Next? Do you work in EC? Do you even work in radio at all? My guess is no, you probably got fired and you bitter and negative. Honestly by the looks of your old post it actually looks like your bitterness if just towards Hollywood. The majority of your post are talking about BOB and Electric out of TN. Just so happens to be the old station Hollywood worked at before BOB. So did you get fired from Hollywood at Electric? Is that why your so damn mad? Get over yourself bro!

Maybe you should just focus on selling cars and stop spreading rumors...Why would NextMedia fire a PD that his staff likes and that has the station focused in every direction? The guy just got PD middle of January. His first trend that he will be responsible for won't even arrive until June. Why don't you ask his Staff what they think about him as a leader? Is not a leader suppose to inspire, give hope, and motivate? ...A leader should delegate responsibiities to competant people and not be afraid to put people in place that may be smarter than he or she....A leader should provide an atmosphere where people can learn and grow and be happy to contribute to help the team succeed and acomplish goals. That is what Hollyood is trying to do...The station is Super focusedAsk Hollywood's staff, and peers what they think of him...they would be the best judge of his character, and his ability's as a leader.

Bob sounds damn good...And everyone on that team is happy, and motivated...period...and everyone on the BOB team works hard...it is to all of their credit to the success that Bob will soon have.
 
So, how much credibility should one place into a person who speaks in ALL CAPS on this board? Maybe that kind of attitude is what got Scott where he is today!
 
UH OH...I'VE GOT THE LATEST SCOOP! I HEAR A CERTAIN DEALERSHIP IS LETTING GO OF A BOOGIE MAN TOMORROW! SEEMS HE'S TOO BUSY POSTING DEROGATORY REMARKS ABOUT RADIO PERSONALITIES ON MESSAGE BOARDS TO SELL CARS!
