Bonaduce To Divorce, Undergo Vocal Chord Surgery: Myspace

Danny Bonaduce posted a bulletin from his official Myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/bonaduce). However, it is not yet on his Myspace page but members who are Myspace members can read the full bulletin here (must be logged in).

Danny is going through a tough time: planning to separate from his wife Gretchen (you may have seen her on the VH1 show "Breaking Bonaduce") and then he's undergoing surgery on his throat, specifically, his vocal chords.

Here's a portion:

"[Two] things you need to know. One. I am getting a divorce.

Two. I'm having surgery on my vocal chords on Saturday.

Thank you for all your kind words and please keep them coming as I will not be able to speak for these days.

I have been getting a lot of messages that [sic] say something to the effect of, "I pray your throat gets better." What I really would like to hear is, "I hope your throat gets better so I can stick my tongue down it"... For all the trouble my space has caused me to think I could have met the girl of my dreams by now. Instead, one is leaving me and the doctor is literally going to cut my throat. it's about time he gets serious flirting around here..."

...well, he damn near sounds like Jack Klugman as it is now ;-) ...

...seriously, I was personally acquainted with Danny when he was in Chicago at WLUP/WMVP. He's a damned nice guy when no cameras are present and he doesn't have an active jones for stuff. For a while, he was the best thing in Chicago radio. I hope he gets the dust to settle sometime when he's still around to witness it...
 
Has anyone heard if Tom Leykis is planning on any sort of vocal chord surgery? Heard Bonaduce on Leykis' show last week -- between the two of them, it was painful to hear. Bonaduce's voice has gotten too gravelly, while Leykis is now perpetually hoarse.
