Well I think it's bout time this station stopped trying just to be a hard classic rocker when there is obviously a gap in the Portland market for a straight up rock station. I knew that from beginning this was a likely move for the station due to the loss of WTOS being able to be recieved in greater Portland thanx to WJZP and cause from bout the 1st week or so of listening to the station when it came on it seemed like they were leaning more active then classic rock w/ many 90's and early 2000's bands. I am just interested though to see how they will fair against WTOS and WHEB as they do overlap in certain areas for coverage. I honestly believe that Nassau is gonna have to stop being penny pinchers and maybe get some quality air talent instead of all the syndy shows like the BORING free beer and hot wings show. It would be great if they would just hire a local morning crew but I do give them credit for dropping the BORING Alice Cooper nights show. Comments...?
 
They could put Jesus H. Christ himself on that station--it would still suck, and would continue to stiff in the ratings. Their syndie shows suck, Bonedriver sucks, their BLM castoffs suck. Typical Nassau suckage.

No need to add the previously mentioned guy that has already been dead for about 2000 years. There are way TOO MANY stations that already feature him. On the other hand, Free Beer and Hot Wings is geared to Joe Six Pack, that works in the paper mill,
and it is pretty lame. I don't understand your problem with the Alice Cooper show, though. Great musical depth and cerebral humor....Well maybe thats the problem....
 
I enjoyed the musical depth of his show but he is just not a good radio jock. He just put me to sleep. I also think that now the station is playing newer rock in the mix his show would seem so out of place.
