Airing Family Feud against The Price is Right?
What were they thinking?

It's like someone there wants to be able to say, "See, THIS is why we need more court shows, not game shows."

WNYW runs it in the afternoon--seems like a much more logical time. Failing that, 9 or 10 am would be a lot more sensible than 11 am.

There are too many of those judge shows, and they are all the same.

I'm biased as a game show fan, but I would say, for the most part, even in the heyday of network and syndicated game shows, they felt different from one another....but the court shows all seem like carbon copies. Sure, I read the hype about why Joe is different than Judy is different than Alex, et al, but come on, there's REALLY no meaningful difference.

I may be in the minority, but I'd watch Family Feud any day over Price is Right if given the choice. The Price is Right gets real old after awhile. :)

But I agree I'm probably in the minority. 10 a.m. would be much better. Or in the afternoon.

Understand what you're saying...I hadn't watched Price in ages until I got my DVR, and now I watch a few episodes a week (along with every episode of Millionaire on WPVI). For better or worse, Price is exactly like I remembered it from my high school days. But hey, the ratings speak for themselves, so don't tamper with a winning formula.

Meantime Feud is into its third incarnation in less time than Price has been around. This one is good--the set looks modern, Richard Karn does a fine job hosting the show (hmmmm, when Bob retires from Price....nah, couldn't happen, could it?) and it's still fun to try to figure out the survey answers.
