Bongino

Any opinions on this show? I listened to most of the first hour but had to bail. Too much high-pitched yelling!

I heard part of the first day his show was on here in Seattle. Didn't hear any yelling. He seems personable. I caught maybe ten minutes a day or two after. Same impression. I'll have to tune in a few more times to see what my final impression is. If a host is personable, that's a positive. My overall impression so far (from the maybe half hour I heard him) was much more positive than when I saw him talking on Fox TV as a commentator (I have a friend who was watching Fox a lot at the time -- I don't watch TV myself).

I figured it was going to be 3 hours of "all hail Our Lord God Trump". Our local had a lot of commercials playing per their Facebook comments, but they may not have had a signal the first 20 minutes of the first day.

Where can I find a list of Bongino affiliates? Does he have one in Baltimore, Annapolis, or Wilmington or Dover, DE?

In those markets no. Baltimore's 680 WCBM went with a local host, 1450 WILM and 1410 WDOV are iHeart stations so they'll be carrying "The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show"

From Annapolis you may be able to pull in 105.9 WMAL, if Baltimore's 105.7 WJZ doesn't overpower your radio.

His show doesn't appear to be on many top tier stations. Mostly on rimshots, like 1450 am and 1230 am.
He's listed as airing on "KBUF, Wichita, KS..." However, KBUF is a station in Garden City, KS, in the Wichita TV market but no relation to Wichita radio. The station is a lot farther than 100 miles from Wichita...

Bongino is still claiming that he will have all the evidence that the election was stolen and that our current national government is illegitimate any minute now. Why does Cumulus allow this on the public airwaves? Yes, they think of it as entertainment but there are plenty of people willing to violently act on it.

Anyone hear the fool's show? Does he really repeat the Criminal in Chief's baseless claims?
I don't listen. I don't think he's carried here.
The former Rush affiliate carries the boring Buck & Sexton snoozefest, plus other right-wingers.
As a long time talk radio listener (since 1984), I cannot listen anymore to this drivel.

Then please, stop.
And don't reply to every thread that mentions a right-wing talk host to tell us how much you hate listening to them. This is what, your fourth one today?

I don't give a rat's you-know-what about what you think about me or my posts.
This is a discussion board, after all.
If your sensibilities are so sensitive, like you have a glass jaw (like the former president and his gullible followers), go cower in your Angry White Men talk radio "safe zone."

I'm just trying to help your blood pressure, mate.

It may be moot. Bongino has been off the air for the past two days while they aired reruns. He and Cumulus are having a dispute over the company's COVID vaccine mandate. He has threatened to quit if they do not rescind it. He says he has gotten the vaccine but is taking a stand for employees who have chosen not to do so.

73% of Americans have taken at least one shot while surveys show broad support for vaccines and mask mandates.
Small numbers oppose mandates.
Boing and the rest of the Angry White Men Chorus that seized talk radio are clearly out of step with mainstream America....

Majority in U.S. Says Public Health Benefits of COVID-19 Restrictions Worth the Costs, Even as Large Shares Also See Downsides

"....Differences in views by vaccination status exist within partisan groups. Among Republicans and Republican leaners, 55% of vaccinated Republicans favor requiring proof of vaccination for air travel, compared with 12% of unvaccinated Republicans. Just under half of vaccinated Republicans back proof of vaccination for attending events and public colleges and universities (compared with only about 10% of unvaccinated Republicans). However, when it comes to requirements to eat inside restaurants or shop, majorities of Republicans, regardless of vaccination status, oppose having to provide proof of vaccination. (60% of Republicans and Republican leaners are vaccinated; 38% are not.)...."

I don’t like Bongino. The op asked and I answered.

Many former Rush stations switched to Bongino. That is like asking a rookie nfl quarterback to fill Tom Brady’s shoes.

IMO, he has an irritating voice and style, combined with a pompous personality. As a former radio programmer I would drop him in a New York minute.
