BonJovi On KAGM

D

DoubleC

Guest
If you want to know why a Classic Country station failed I submit this...I heard KAGM play BON JOVI and it wasn't even the hit with Jenifer Nettles. I heard no tributes to Porter Wagnor But I heard BonJovi......

Understood but it does not belong on a classic country station, that would be like if bonjovi remade 60's oldies tunes you would not play them on an oldies station. They say the Legends The Known, I don't think there core listener will go YEAH its Bonjovi

There may not be many times when I agree with Double C, but this is one of them. That album may be considered country, but I wouldn't call much of today's country geniune country. After all, Rascal Flatts is the backup band for Chicago!

The Range was originally a station that played geniune country. "Cowboy Up to The Range!" I don't think you would have heard Bon Jovi, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, or very many current country artists on previous incarnations of the The Range.

There are no Jocks on ED FM and they are doing really doing fine. They do have a neat tv spot.

Jack formats are dropping like flies, ed was late to get in and will be late to leave. I pod radio is not the key.
Country won't work for that crap
