With the excitement of POWERBALL and a WHAT IF scenario - curious to discover the starting price for the Bonneville Cluster in Sacramento. . . .

Thanx

Everything's for sale if the price is right.

Having said that, he's not going to be buying them anytime soon, and I doubt anyone else is either.

It's not out of the realm of the impossible.

What was the final price Bonneville forked over six months Ago
?

It was for the San Francisco and Sacramento clusters, without a breakout by market---$141 million. They got 99.7, 102.9, 96.5 and 98.5 in the Bay Area and 1140, 105.1, 96.1 and 100.5 here in Sacramento.

Educated guess---four stations per market, all FM in the Bay Area, one of them FM in Sac---market size difference---two-thirds of it for SF and a third for Sac would be $46.5 million.

But again---other than "anything can happen" and "everything is for sale if the price is right", what makes the OP (or anybody) think a sale is imminent---and who'd buy? There aren't that many players in the game anymore.

That should be "one of them AM in Sac"...
