Re: CITADEL COULD BUY KIRO AND KTTH, JENNINGS COULD BRING BACK WHAT USED TO WORK
Maybe
Citadel will buy KIRO / KTTH. Then,
Brian Jennings, Citadel's VP of N/T, could come back, and hire back all the great talent (syndicated and local) that he managed on KING 1090 and KVI 570, with huge ratings.
Jennings arguably understands the market better than any of the current Seattle N/T PD's. He' also understands how to aggressively promote N/T hosts. There's no question that Jennings was the most successful Seattle PD in the "modern Rushed era" of talk radio (i.e. since 1990). A lot of us have learned from his success, even if we disagree with him politically.
