Bonneville's 710 ESPN Seattle is Now ''Seattle Sports''

https://news.****************/articles/n41843/Bonnevilles-710-ESPN-Seattle-is-Now-Seattle-Sports

Interesting branding but at the same time I get it whenever 710 ESPN is mentioned its usually directed at KSPN ESPN 710 AM Los Angeles the Disney managed and named as a candidate going to Good Karma Brands.

Note 710 Seattle will keep the ESPN Radio Affiliation.

When KIRO-AM went to all-sports, they may have identified themselves to the media as ESPN Seattle or 710 ESPN Seattle, but on-air they more often referred to themselves as 710 Sports, and indeed 710sports.com redirects to their base home page sports.mynorthwest.com.

This rebrand makes sense. For the hours that matter, they are live and local Seattle sports, and for the local properties Bonneville has rights to -- Seahawks and Mariners -- the ESPN branding is secondary or irrelevant. And they're no longer linked with an AM frequency and thus can call themselves a "content creator," not a boring old radio station!
