Just wanted to drop a note and recommend Bill Carter's "The War For Late Night", which has been out for about 2 months now. Bill also authored "The Late Shift", chronicling the previous late-night imbroglio in 1992. I just happened across the new book in Barnes & Noble the other day, and now I'm almost finished with it. Fascinating read if you were as enamored with the entire Jay/Conan situation as I was.
