Booker Rumor

I hope its not true. Booker post 2002 on k-rock when he went to afternoons was too talky and I just wanted him to play Damn Music!

For obvious reasons when 92.3 was "FreeFM" it was obviously aimed to be a "talker" NOT a music-intensive station. So therefore your analysis on Bookers previous stop was a bit flawed. As for his work on Q-102 I cannot comment...don't listen and don't see myself listening anytime soon. Talented dude but I can say I would like to see him fill a role back at K-Rock, a station that is in DIRE need of help/direction! From what I have read he's got another year + on his Q-102 contract so I don't see this as a likely scenario.

Why would you rehire staff that got no ratings the first time they were on?

For that matter why would you hire staff to begin with. K-Rock2 is completely automated and sounds great. I bet its about $2 million a year cheaper to run too.

No jock = fewer ads needed = more listeners
 
Are they ever going to turn on their HD-2 Channel? I would listen... HD3 maybe like PLJ?
