Boom Boom Brannigan Passed Away?

I received a Facebook message from a young man this morning saying that his uncle Joe Motto (aka Boom Boom Brannigan of 1540 WPTR fame) passed away yesterday. No other details were sent.
 
Yes , unfortantely its true there is an article in the Albany Times Union though no obit at this time.
He passed yesterday Tuesday October 19th.
The article has mentions from Bob Lawson and Bruce Wayne two other WPTR icons.
That when radio was RADIO!
