Boortz is in trouble

I have been calling anyone and everyone to get a confirmation on what could be the most shocking news to everyone in Atlanta. I have found a bondsman who has said that arrangements are being made to get him out as quick as possible once he turns himself in. Gwinnett County will not confirm anything.

I'm not buying any of it. Who is the bondsman?

That would be a definite shocker. I mean he doesn't seem like the kind of person to run around doing that sort of thing. He's too old and his body isn't made for it. Look at all the surgeries he's had lately. I don't think he's is in good enough shape to do...well....you know.

why not. he's one of those right-of-center whack jobs who preaches values but (allegedly) does the opposite

the conservative movement is full of those types as has been so frequently illustrated during the past year or so

When the "ladies" cost $10,000 for their "services" you have to admit it's a victimless crime. If you think about it, Boortz may be the true "victim" in this case. Poor, homely, blowhard can't get a date. And with all that said HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

but the operative word is "crime"

bill clinton got grilled for years over a stain on a blue dress

what's good for the goose.................

Boortz is actually supportive of the freedom to engage in any activity between people that doesn't hurt anyone else, prostitution would be a good example but you don't care about the facts do you? You have over 2000 posts in a radio forum and you don't even know what kind of ideas Boortz has? At least he's not a left-of-center whack job who condemns people based not on facts but stereotypes that he want's to project in order to justify his dogma.

This is getting a tad heated. Libs vs. Neo Cons (although they never call themselves that, now do they?).

I don't care for Boortz but who got hurt in this "crime"? He's a stupid radio guy, not the President. Different standard. So he's a hypocrite. He's an entertainer. The good ones usually are a mess.

And,just so you know, I thought the Clinton scandal was an entire sham, too.

hypocrites drive me nutz. they stand on their soap box and demand others do this or do that as if it is THE only way, the RIGHT way...............then they just end up doing the opposite getting their own rox off. too many people talking the talk but refusing to walk the walk themselves

I say where there's smoke, there's usually some fire.

Boortz is probably using his millions to try and cover this all up, if it's true.

like rush limbaugh and his prescription narcotics scam

or bill oreilly and his sexual harrassment complaints

Actually I think Boortz does a good job making sure listeners know what the difference is between a Libertarian and a Republican. You just have to make a connection with his opinions on evolution, gay marriage, abortion, drugs, and other issues on which strongly differs from the Republican party's stance.

that is, until the presidential election rolls around. Then, this self described 'Libertarian' says 'whatever you do, vote for the Republican'. Then, after he wins, he goes back to calling himself a 'Libertarian'. ::)

Great point about Boortz voting for the Republican. Boortz has Libertarian leanings on a few issues, but overall he is nothing but a knuckle dragging Republican. It stems from his greed for the almighty $.

Your politics are hanging out. Zip em up. This is a human being, albeit one I'm not fond of on the radio. This is where Democrats, Republicans et al lose me. They get blinded by someones politics. This is a man who had relations with a porfessional and now stands to suffer greatly for it. Again, who got hurt here?

As a Libertarian, I think prostitition (among adults) should be legal. It is a victimless crime.

I just find it amusing, that if this is true about NB, that he will have to talk about it to some extent.

I can't wait to hear Clark Howard do a brothel review, and how you can find great deals, especially in off-peak times.

Great angle, wish I'd thought of that. I'm having a hard time figuring out why anyone would think this is detrimental to his career. First of all, he's on the radio so it's not as though we hold him in high regard to begin with. Then, he's a libertarian. Libertarians think brothels should be legal. It's not like he's ever presented himself as morally conservative. I'd say it's a ratings ploy but the timing is off.

For the record, the prostitute in question did not charge a $10,000 fee for her services. She's at most $300 per hour for the regular "john" and that high-dollar amount is a "weekend" rate. I love how the media just took that number and ran with it. Also, anyone (even Boortz, if it's him) arrested for being in Melissa Wolf's database can plead it out. Why? Because while the names might be in a file, the police can't prove anything illegal happened.

I can't see Boortz being involved, for what it's worth.

For whatever it's worth you seem to know quite a bit, some would even say too much about the services of Melissa Wolf. Yeah, that damned liberal media misquoting the prices of the "ladies of the evening" you and your buddy Boortz frequent. Stupid libs can't get no (to paraphrase the Stones) hooker satisfaction. (disclaimer: prices only)

Well...isn't this ironic....sounds to me like a publicity ploy. Let's see.....his named gets dropped around this issue just before the release of his new book? Hmmmmmmm!!!! Sounds like P.R. to me.
