Boortz can slam grieving parents but “shock jocks” get fired for throwaway one liners? This is messed up.

However, it doesn't bother him that his employer can't tell the difference in 'Attitude' and 'Altitude' or 'Magnetic compass' and 'Gryo Compass' when misreporting a plane crash. His paper got it right, but who reads the paper? Both WSB-AM and Ch 2 made the transposition and mistake. Figure his credence as about the same as any other entertainer out of his element.

give 1340/1230 supertalk a try. the imaging will drive you nuts, but I 'm beggining to warm to Dennis Miller ( 10-1 ). The signal is strong, and if you can get past the promos and psa's, it's pretty good. He runs his show like Mike Rose used to : guests, guests and guests, and he plays the mediator. He gets some good ones, though, and he doesn't scream over callers that disagree.

Hell, if Dickie could pony up for a am show, and simulcast BnK on the drive home, it could take over GST.

I agree that 1340/1230 supertalk could overtake GST with an AM show but who could do it? This is a lot easier said than done. 1340/1230 supertalk with local programming could become a contender but is there any local talent out there without having to go on a national search?

Boortz was absolutely right, and I'm so glad someone has the balls to say it.

We have raised a nation of irresponsible wimps that drive drunk and stand by while their classmates are murdered. Put the blame where it's due. I hate to say it, but it sounds like natural selection to me.
