Boost 95.5 Debuts In St. Louis

Monday January 4, 2021, St. Louis got a new home for Pop, Hip Hop, and Hope.
BOOST RADIO expanded to KXBS 95.5, branding as “BOOST 95 FIVE.” The change took place
at 9:55 AM, synced up and simulcasted on Facebook & Instagram live. (@myboostnation
on both platforms). The video and & audio from those first moments is at New BOOST 95.5 Facebook Live Launch Party.

Prior to the flip, BOOST was heard in about half of the St. Louis metro on a translator and two rimshots. Owner Gateway Creative Broadcasting is in the process of closing on the purchase of 95.5 from Urban One

Anyone know what will happen to Boost's other signals now that 95.5 is on?

For now, they will remain Boost. 94.1 and 97.7 are likely to continue with Boost as they serve areas that 95.5 can't reach or can't reach well. In fact, both have changed calls to reflect that (KPVR 94.1 -> KNBS & KHZR 97.7 -> KQBS).

101.9 might make a change, but, from what I understand, Gateway Creative leases it from EMF (which previously used it for Air 1), and the LMA requires EMF to approve of any format changes.
