Boost Radio 102.5 HD3 - Coming Soon?

I spy a note on the Boost Radio "Master Signal List" that mentions Columbus 102.5 HD3 as "Coming Soon".

I don't know how old or new this information is, but wanted to pass it along.

Interesting, I didn't know 102.5 was capable of running HD channels but it makes sense for EMF to upgrade it since they are "buying it" I would not be surprised if they stop leasing WODC HD-3 and put Air1 on 102.5 HD-2 and use that to feed 99.3 instead and then have Boost as an HD-3.

Guess they changed their mind. There's no longer a mention of "Columbus 102.5 HD-3" at all on the Boost Radio "Master Signal List". Interesting.

102.5 did upgrade to HD around Feb. 25. They're running "K-Love 2000s" on the HD2 and ran Boost for a week or two on HD3 but turned it off. I have no idea why. They still have a lot of details to clean up - Artist Experience, PPM Encoding, etc.

I am just throwing things at the wall - because you know these forums are for thoughts and ideas - I wonder if the recent news of K-Love likely entering St Louis will have any impact on the relationship between EMF (K-Love Inc) and Gateway Creative the owners of Boost Radio - I hope not because the Boost folks are great and they deserve expansion of a great format but you know if KLove starts to compete against Joy 99.1...

With that said - You know what I personally would like to see - River Radio purchase 95.9 from Salem then use one of their HD channels to "feed" Boost Radio to Columbus with an analog translator to boot! River used to have a Christian Rhy/Hiphop format called "The Vibe HD" but shut it down years ago..

Boost may not have landed at 102.5 HD-3 but appears to have found another place in Columbus :)

K-Love is now using 102.5 HD-2 to air "Air1" and feed 99.3's translator instead of via WODC HD-3. 102.5 HD-3 is "K-Love Pop"
