Boost the FM signal?

Is this possible/do-able - maybe an external device or something - to boost the FM signal from my Sportster so all the radios in my house can get the Sirius signal ?

There are home repeater devices sold so that you can do that. You can boost the signal about a quarter mile.

We've found here at our movie theater that the signal on the Sportster is actually strong enough to not only make it throughout the building, but out into the parking lot. Try tuning some radios before you go buying a booster.

If you are really creative, carefull and don't mind possibly voiding your warrenty, you might try opening the unit up and extending the transmitters antenna. I have an X-act plug and play unit. I opened it up and extened the wire with about a foot of the same gauge wire, and ran it outside the unit. I have at least doubled the signal by doing this. Not all radios use a wire as their antenna though. If your radio uses a thin piece of metal run around the PC board you may want to try soldering a wire to it. There's also the chance of picking up some interference from the power adaptor cable after doing this. I just mute the unit and with an FM radio turned up loud, I move the wire around till I lose most (if not all) of that noise.
