New Project 961 morning show? I liked him when he was in Jacksonville. They were looking for afternoon talent in the ad they placed a bit ago.

I'm not trying to fan the flames but I think this is a great hire. Go to his site dickdale.com Awesome, funny stuff. He'll be a great replacement for the RG's

That guy seems pretty good from the clips, seems like some effort goes into production and he's not annoying to listen to. I hope he comes here. More than that I hope that they quit running those god awful promo spots on 96.1! They suck badly, I remember listening to one and thinking how poor of an effort it was and then they threw a burping noise into it. Rarely do I change the station with such urgency. Not only do they suck but they have different ones that also suck and they run them frequently, argh. They have a truly great music format going on but they are really risking screwing up the formula with that crap.

This guy doesn't sound horrible. His website wasn't as cool as a previos poster testified, but he would be better than some other syndicated small market crap. Granted, Vegas is a much smaller market than Atlanta, but west coast radio is a little freer and better (as is northeast radio) than what we have her in the South. As such, Dick Dale would be a better alternative than syndicating southern jocks like Lex and Terry and JB and Billy. This rumor is almost enough to be impressed at the thought that CC is putting some effort into the on-air lineup on Project. Almost.
 
My sources say he's going to either KNDD/Seattle or KRBZ/Kansas City. He's old friends with current KNDD and former KRBZ PD Lazlo.
 
It's official....Dick Dale is doing mornings at KRBZ/Kansas City starting Feb 12. The search continues in Atlanta....
