Boris Karloff's THRILLER

I admit there's a reluctance from a few distributors to resurrect black and white programs---but I'd love to see a few of the episodes of Boris Karloff's THRILLER! The show ran for 2 seasons (1960 & 1961) on NBC. There were some real chills...not to mention some well-known actors (including Mr. Karloff) connected with the program.

Does anybody know who has the broadcast rights to this? Or if the show will ever be released on DVD?

In the 80s, the Bay Area's then rather quirky independent station KOFY TV20 did occasional retro-TV weekends, and dug up some obscure programming - including Thriller.. I was surprised at how well done they were...the two that were aired in any case.

One 1961 episode featured a somewhat familiar looking young co-ed (attractive but with a prominent nose) in the first scence or two As I remember, she doesn't survive long. I waited for the end-credits so I could find out who it was...it turned out to be Marlo Thomas pre- nose-job. The resemblance to "Daddy" was more apparent.

Well, looky-looky-looky what's coming to TV in the Windy City...

Chicago's newest television station is up and running with a lineup of classic programming available nowhere else.

Right on time last weekend, Weigel Broadcasting launched "Me-Too" on WMEU-Channel 48, a companion to "Me-TV" on Weigel's WWME-Channel 23.

Rare shows include "Naked City," "Boris Karloff's Thriller" and "The Fugitive."
