Bos. Globe praises WDEV for storm coverage/info

While WDEV was live and local throughout the night Sunday-Monday, VPR was broadcasting BBC world news. It was only after everyone woke up Monday morning to total devastation in some parts of Vermont, that VPR jumped on the ball and expanded their "Vermont Edition" local program in the afternoon, and a live version at 7:00 PM (which is usually a repeat of the afternoon broadcast.)

In my opinion, WDEV was fantastic in their comprehensive coverage, based on what they were working with. . .A directional signal on AM, and an FM transmitter (96.1), which kept have technical difficulties from the top of Sugarbush.

VPR is the only network of stations which almost covers the entire state.
