I don't see them taking much if any of the Zone or V-101...maybe the older end of KZZO and the whiter-bred listenership of KHYL. Regarding Flash - Do they really have anyone left for the taking?
I see them taking cume from the Eagle the most...KCCL plays quite a few things that belong on KSEG.
As a music lover and a fan of classic top 40, I enjoy the music and like the presentation - always liked their jocks. LOVE the jingles. But their success is only going to be cume-driven given the way the music flows. I'll be happy to eat my words, but it's hard for me to stay with it for long, even though I know most of the songs.
Never heard Tony Cox beyond his prod voice work - sounds good.
But, I've heard mixed and negative reviews at best with people I know (in and out of radio) who listen. Mainly it sounds like the music flow, and the sheer amount and variety of music doesn't make it any easier to flow smoothly.
I wish them the best.
