Boston 25 - 9/9/2024

Gets Better - From 12:35am to 5:00am they are replaying News at 10 and News at 11 over and over in 3 blocks! WTF? Droiping informericals for news replays - can they make more money that way?
They are owned by Apollo Global Management, a hedge fund that owns Cox Media Group. I think they would rather replay in house news than pay for syndicated programming.

from what I've heard with the newer setups its better to not power off the broadcaster
With the old IOT rigs, it was better to not let the tubes get cold overnight. However every TV station in Boston now have solid state transmitters, so shutting them off doesn't cause any real detrimental effects.
