Boston Alt/Active Rock 12-plus ratings is looking AWFUL

For the eighty gazillionth time, 12+ DOESN'T MATTER. What are the numbers in their target demo? That's all that counts.

With those numbers, WAAF and WBCN target demo, must be leaving The Boston radio market.

PPMs are coming.

Of course it count. It shows overall trends.....for all listeners.

I can't think of a time when a station had huge gains 25-54 and big losses 12+ (or vice-versa).

Ever notice so many out-of-market stations in the ratings? In addition to the WJMN/WXKS duo leading the market, PRO-FM also made a decent showing. And in addition to what have to be the strongest WKLB numbers ever (tied for 6th!), the appearances by WCTK and WOKQ add to over a share.

Boston is undeniably a rock town, but country and CHR are gaining big-time. The PPM seems to benefit rock stations, so we'll see how accurate these numbers actually are, but if they remain the same there have got to be changes on the way.

Good Lawd ! This is really shocking to me . I didnt think WAAF and WBCN can drop this low ( 97.7 does nothing for WAAF ) . http://www.radioandrecords.com/RRRa...CM&BPER=6.4&HPER=7.2&OPER=&NSD=9/16/2008&CE=0

You're not shocked at all, you're just gloating :)
We know, you don't like Boston radio. We get it.
BTW, I don't think WBCN or WAAF are going away anytime soon. They've both been around for a very long time.
Shocked and gloating ! If WHJY had numbers like that, I will be Shocked and upset . Boston, the home for AWFUL ROCK STATIONS !
