BOSTON ARBITRON PPM RATINGS RELEASED: JUNE 2010

This AM Dennis & Callahan were crowing about their ratings. They said they were number 1 by a large margin. They said three full share points. Any word on what the other shows did?

Were they referring to the station or their show?

Edit: This is an interesting post by a reader in the linked Herald article.

Have you noticed that this article has been modified? It originally read that Dennis and Callahan had an 8.9 and were in first place, a stat that D&C bragged about this morning. Now, the article reads that they are tied for 2nd with 3 other stations with a 7.1. Did Jessica originally report inflated WEEI numbers by almost 2 whole points? Were Dennis and Callahan knowingly falsely claiming that they were number 1?

They simply added in WEEI-FM shares which vaults them into 1st. That's all. 98.5 ppl called them on it so Jessica The Howie House Girl went back and re-edited the piece.
