I read that. and my first thought was "What a bunch of jerks to do that to the people"
But as I read on, I realiized-sadly-that it had to be done this way. I work in a Computer Data Center and a few years ago, another site was built. And about 90% of the equipment had to be moved to the new site. Now all the equipment had to be used at the original site right up until business closing one day, then had to be dismantled, packed, transported to the new site 50 miles away, unpacked, reassemlbed, then tested to make sure it was operational, then fully functional at the new site at the opening of busniess the next morning. So it may sound harsh that they "came in like gangbusters" but that's how it needs to be done so the viewer at home (or the customes that we service) sees no breaks or "burps" in the end product, they couldn't afford to let the news people "hang out", I'm sure they had very strict deadlines, like X has to be done by 1am, so X can be done by 1:45am, etc..
