Boston Radio Ratings December 2020

I'm guessing maybe a live news summary at the end of each hour during the overnight, but who knows? It's borderline gibberish. Maybe autocomplete wrecked his thought, or he used a wrong word.
You could be right on all counts here. I'm listening to WBBM at 1:10 Tuesday morning, and they've got an old-time radio comedy going. So their live news summary might indeed be broadcast at around :55 each overnight.

They are on holiday break now.

I think Matty is down in Fla and the rest of the team is back in studio though.
Matt Seigal has been at Kiss for so long now, that he could propably pre-record his show weeks in advance, and nobody would notice at all.

I think Matty is great still, because even though he is a geezer he stays current.

Maybe I do not care of how important that he think that he is. Back in the 1990s (ok, true this was 30 years ago,) Matty made a comment that just did not bode with me well at the time. He had that "there are no new great disc jockeys out there" for the future! Not more than 5 seconds later, I utter to myself "oh really, what about Kid Valentine at then WZOU? And just in case you never really followed his career, when WZOU became Jamn 94.5, Mr. Valentine was just a tad bit out of place!

He ended up at a station in Dallas/Ft. Worth that impressed the suits so much, that he landed at KIIS in L.A. Not too shabby! I mean Matt Siegal was oblivious to some of the talent at their then competitor, which ended up under their umbrella anyway? Yeah, it was a pretty pompous statement if I do say so myelf!
