Globe's Chad Finn had numbers for sports radio in a diff. demo.
This is 12 plus. No WMEX yet (Howie debuted 11/17) but RKO goes 3.3 to 2.2 but again this is only 12-plus. WGBH a bit higher. WKLB strong. WBWL up slightly.
1200 billed as news-talk but reallynbiz/finance

No snarky mock cheer for WUMB? OK, even though I like the station and its music, I will note that the mighty 91.9 doubled its 12+ number last month -- to 0.2! Go, UMB, go!

Does anyone know what's up with WXKS AM ?
Is that a ratings gain or did they just start paying ?

No snarky mock cheer for WUMB?
WUMB is poised to make their move now.
What a brilliant strategy !
Lay low for many years and then ...BOOM....when no one is looking make their move and threaten powerhouses WKOX AM & WEEI AM.

I am puzzled why everyone just lets WMJX dominate the Christmas music format without a challenge.

WJMN looks like it has stabilized.

Listening to the WBMX Christmas countdown right now while posting and that is decent.
