Boston Ratings: January

http://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb013

Boston ratings for Janauary. What do you think?

Yes at WBOS! Maybe this will be it's year to shine rating-wise.

I haven't listened to WBOS for awile now. Are they just as repetitive as always? Even my son and girlfirend (who are squarely in their demo) believe they are way too repetitive. But apparently not everyone agrees.

Those are overall 12+ ratings; meanwhile I posted a thread about the 25-54 ratings/men for WBZ-FM and WEEI-FM,
show by show; today's Herald says WEEI "tanks after morning drive" and hints (and it is just speculation) at such things as a Holley-Merloni combo and even poss. ESPN content middays.

If WEEI adds ESPN content to middays, they will have admitted that they are officially the 2nd sports station in town and have thrown in the towel.

Yes remember when they had syndie in midday with the Fabulous Sports Babe...
they also used to have Imus in AM drive for many years. At one time Imus led into Dennis and Callahan, 10a-2p...then finally around '99, Jason Wolfe decided not to renew Imus and the I-man went to 96.9--for a short time was still smooth jazz WSJZ (Imus in the morning, then smooth jazz) till by Sept of 99, they went talk as WTKK: Imus, Stacy Taylor (at first), Jay Severin, etc...think Barnicle wound up middays then...
