Boston This Morning ?

Best one hour news show on the air in Boston....5 to 6 each morning on WRKO. Have you heard it ??? Rod Fritz is anchoring this long newscast. He is perfect in this format (though I think he should have his own show on WRKO) The big 68 should be careful. Fritz is the odds on favorite to move to BZ when the king Lappierre retires ( at least Casey and CO., should be thinking about that) Keep up the good work on 'RKO !

I have heard Fritz doing the 5-6am news and it is award winning! Rod does a fantastic job, keeps up the pace and makes it very interesting. Rod is a true professional and RKO better watch out, he may get snapped up pretty quick. No, I don't have any inside info.......

In that case, let him do news at the top of the hour so they don't have to keep interrupting the talk show with news.

Yes, Rod Fritz is one of the best newsmen/women on Boston radio.Not only does he have some of the best "pipes" in the business but he actually has real world experience as a reporter.Hope he is in the running for the WBZ radio replacement for Gary LaPierre. And Rod won't even have to commute from Florida in the winter. ;D
