Boston TV Ratings under investigation

https://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2017/3/6/ratings-under-investigation-in-boston

The last time I heard of ratings allegedly rigged was because it was the radio ratings book in Los Angeles for questionable reasons.

Now that Boston is a 5 station news market, the ratings seem to be in question.

FOX 25 wasn't doing especially well and was losing to WHDH in the AM and late news race. WBZ was on track to win the 11pm race. Then, all of a sudden, the ratings flipped and Fox 25 ended up winning the AM and late newscasts, including beating WBZ at 11pm.

Sources told New England One that WHDH has asked Nielsen to investigate the anomaly, which they've begun. Reportedly, one zip code in the sample, changed everything.

It's still crazy to us that stations give Nielsen millions of dollars each year, for these kinds of ridiculous results.
