Danielle Niles has left NECN ... Matt Noyes returns to Mornings, and Nelly Carreno has been moved to afternoons and evenings. Wow.
 
I am no fan of Nelly Carreno. I wish there was another 9 p.m. News in Boston so I would have an alternative. And how long before Matt Noyes starts looking. He can't be happy about going back to mornings.
 
Someone needs to look into what happened to Joe Joyce. I saw online there was a death in his family. He isn't on the Channel 4 website anymore either. Sounds like another shameful let-go from WBZ, remember Ed Carroll, Ken Barlow, Scott Wahle.
 
If Danielle Niles will be doing weekend mornings, I would have to say that means that Barry Burbank will be doing weekend nights because it does look like Joe Joyce has left the building. I too would like to know what happened to Joe. I always liked him.
 
I put up with watching NECN in SD as my cable system doesn't carry them in HD. I do this _mostly_ because of Matt Noyes's excellent forecasts and information, and partly because of their slight non-Boston focus compared to the Boston stations. I have no interest in watching Nelly Carreno. I guess I'll switch over to WSBK at 10 PM.
