Bounce TV coming to LA & NYC

Too bad Fox didn't jump on this sooner. In Chicago, Bounce got relegated to Weigel's low power station WWME-LD 23.2, since Weigel is committed to The U Too on WCIU 26.2 (a time shift program channel along with a few shows only shown on The U Too), & they're not moving MeTV & MeToo off of WCIU 26.3 & 26.4 either (simulcasts of WWME-LD 23.1 for MeTV & WMEU-LD 48.1 for MeToo).

The network isn't that good. The network has only been on the air about 2 months and some of the movies they've shown have already been shown a dozen times. Besides movies they also show Soultrain reruns and a show called Backstage Pass.

Soul Train is all I need I could care less about the movies but Soul Train leaving KTLA and WGN left a major void on Saturday afternoons. Centric only shows it once a month now. Not really that much to offer but sitcoms but most of them are already on cable outlets BET, Centric TV One, TBS and Nick at Nite.

Both KCOP & WWOR are adding Bounce as a sub-channel.

That's good for WWOR. Their only subchannel (9.2) has just been a simulcast of WNYW for as long as I can remember. There is no mention of when it will actually sign on though...
The programming lineup looks very weak. They should add some classic shows like Diff'rent Srokes and Webster.

I'll go one further: The "WB" and "CW" branding coming to KTLA and WGN and WPIX left a major void for "superstations."
