Bounce TV moving from FOX to Univision in NY, LA...

I'm confused. Aren't Fox and Univision networks, not local stations? Isn't Bounce one of those new networks carried on digital sub-channels of local, over-the-air stations? How are two networks swapping a digital sub-channel network?

I think he's talking about just NY & LA locally & where Bounce TV will be aired there

Besides, if memory serves me right, Univision owns (At least) a major stake in Bounce TV (If they don't own it outright). This move would be more in line with where the diginet is nationally (Including in the Denver area, where it can be seen over Univision owned TeleFutura affiliate KTFD 14.2)

Cheers & 73 :D

Raycom owns a 20% stake in Bounce. To my knowledge, Univision does not own a piece.

Seems like a downgrade to me. Interesting how they seem to be trying to turn it into a positive though........I guess that's all they can do with it.

It may actually be an upgrade, especially when it comes to cable coverage and promotion. The Fox stations that carry Bounce (at least here in Los Angeles) have done nothing to promote the channel (as opposed to Movies!, which of course Fox is a part-owner in), and has very little cable coverage--Verzion Fios has it in New York and Los Angeles, and Comcast carries Bounce on its suburban NYC system. Univision, at least can secure Bounce cable coverage in those markets, as Time Warner Cable is a heavy presence in both markets and they were able get its El Rey Network and GetTV on those systems right from launch.
