BounceTV on WUVP now instead of WMCN

From Bounce TV's website, the channel has bounced off of WMCN to a subchannel of WUVP. Sorry, I had to use that pun.

Also, Verizon Fios that had Bounce (from WMCN) has deleted it, but it hasn't added the channel (from WUVP) on it's lineup. Apparently, Comcast carries it.

I think 'A Different World' reruns are still played on TV One though, and Fios still has that station. And it's on the Fios Mobile app.

I find it interesting to see 'A Different World' from Bounce TV being marketed even on billboards in Philly, as this show is over 15 years old. I remember when NBC didn't want to air it in it's final season and instead buried it in the summer schedule, after Cosby Show had ended, when NBC likely felt the predominately Black American show didn't fit in with the Cheers/Seinfeld Thursday lineup combination.

So, they're cramming 2 HD signals and 2 SD signals into their bandwith now? I guess it's only a matter of time that FiOS readds Bounce. They already carry channel 65's other subchannels, UniMas & Get. Is WMCN planning anything else with 44.2?

Yes it's on both stations. WMCN-DT2 used to be carried all over Philly on Xfinity & FiOS when it was Bounce. I also saw that WMDE in Dover, DE which calls itself a DC & Baltimore station also carries the Soul of the South on its primary channel. WMDE is WACP's sister station also from Atlactic City that has full coverage in Philly on Xfinity & FiOS.
