Bowling Ball event report - PLJ Rocky Allen Showgram...

Well, just like in real life dating, I didn't have much luck in conversations with the ladies, except for two or three exceptions. But I did have a more fun time than I did on any of my real life dates.

The problem with this event, I think, is that everyone going in didn't know quite what to expect, and that had everyone on nerves edge. I noticed of about the 200 people there, half women, half guys.... men where talking mostly to men, and women to women. Some women where either so disinterested in the folks there, or so not in the mood, it was like trying to extract teeth to get a conversation going..yet others opened up pretty easily. I'd say about 10-15 women where really making an effort to meet the guys there, and the same amount of men doing so with the women.

I did exchange one email with a very nice lady who's worst date story was heard on air.....so the event wasn't a total loss. I also helped out a guy who wanted a recording of his kariokie song, so hopeuflly he received that OK through the email I sent....

Since there's no real dedicated PLJ message board out there on the net, does anyone here know someone who attended? What did they think?

Neil
