Bozo (Chicago) Grand Prize Game Arrows

How exactly did they do this? The camera pans around quickly and the superimpose arrows on the screen and pick two children (one boy, one girl) to play the "Grand Prize Game."

(See Link below)
(If time stamp does not work it starts at 14:06

I can't see them shaking a huge heavy camera around that quick, or maybe it's not that quick. I'm sure someone here knows how they did it, or at least how it could be done, using sixties / seventies tech.

Eventually they replace it with the "Bozo-puter" so something must've gave way.

Thanks
