BPM Playing Alot More Older Tunes

I've noticed recently that BPM has started playing alot more older dance tunes, like from the 90s. I thought BPM was supposed to be about the "pure dance" movement of today.

I originally subscribed to XM because of BPM. When I bought a car with Sirius, I tried the dance channels from Sirius only to be disappointed with both the old, tired stuff they played plus the repetition. Now, Sirius has gutted BPM and made it more like Sirius's former Beat channel. I used to listen to all the cool stuff Alan Freed played on BPM, and even stuck around after he left the channel. Now I hardly listen to BPM at all. So much of the current playlist is old and tired and boring. BPM used to be cutting edge with great grooves from Europe, Australia, and the US. Now it's filled with DJs who talk over the music, silly jingles or channel IDs that sound childish and try too hard to blend into the tune that is playing, and old, should-be-dead music. I just don't understand it.
