Radio Online reports:

Brad Hansen is named PD of Country KBUL-FM (B-Bull 98.1)/Reno, NV. He replaces interim PD Derek Gunn, assumed programming duties after the exit of Tom Jordan. Gunn, a station vet since 2000, will remain as Assistant PD/MD. Most recently, Hansen served as PD/morning host for WGZR-FM (Lucky Dog Country 106.9)/Savannah, GA.

Not sure why they should. I mean, 106.9 is their best signal, but 106.1 ain't that shabby either. I would think moving it to 106.9 would just confuse people.

106.9 C1 100K 800' vs. 106.1 C2 25K 500'. 106.9 can throw a signal into Hinesville & Statesboro, two large area rock markets that are pretty much locked up by I-95. This area has chosen 96.5 as its country outlet of choice, and I see no reason for Triad to continue the bleeding on 106.9. I'd think they'd want to put their best product on the best stick.
