Brad Hawkins has math problem

So Channel 8 does a story about the new beer-wine law in Garland, saying an over-the-weekend sting operation found that 7 out of 21 sellers had sold beer/wine to minors. Then they send it to Brad in the field (after Gloria states proudly that WFAA was the ONLY station that participated in the sting operation.) Brad says, "7 out of 21 stores sold beer to minors, that's about 70% and that equals a passing grade from minors looking to buy alcohol."

I believe that really equals around 33%. But I guess during the sweeps, all sorts of magical things can happen with numbers.

While I'm blasting Brad a little, will someone please tell him and Rebecca (is that his weekend co-anchor?) to PRACTICE their intros and outros, or to agree up front who will do what and when. They walk on each other every single time. Maybe they should just do it in unison, or in two-part harmony, or better yet, just have one person do it while the other one smiles and looks mildly sincere.

Perhaps someone should blow a little mouth organ in the key of G and they both can do it in harmony.

Brad Hawkins is a televised trainwreck, Theres a reason he's on weekends. I wonder when Belo will get wise and send em down to the "minors", while rotating in a heavy hitter from outside the market.
