So?

Please keep us updated on this, Mercury

what is the current state of WBIX? Is Alex still there?

Would advise you to review the story of Brad and Bonnie Bleidt. He stole money from individual retirement funds of his investment clients to buy WBIX. He stole all the money some of these people had.

Your dismissive "So" is an inappropriate response to this criminal action.

The discussion about Mr. Bleidt is appropriate from the standpoint that he was a member of the Boston broadcasting community. Some people are angry about his alleged actions, others could care less. This topic has the potential to go down in flames so I'll warn you guys ahead of time, if you're gonna get pissed at each other's responses, I'll end up deleting the thread.

Continue, but you've now been warned.<P ID="signature">______________

Re: BRADFORD BLEIDT Link

Here's a link to one of the stories:

http://business.bostonherald.com/businessNews/view.bg?articleid=88735

According to Sullivan, Bleidt blew $15 million on the station in just 20 months. That's more than half the entire sum he allegedly stole, and three times what he spent on himself.

========================================================================
So WBIX really did him in.

Re: BRADFORD BLEIDT Link

Well, Brad did Alex Langer in by killing the new WMEX. But Brad and Bonnie's wounds were all self inflicted.

Alex had a great idea and Brad squashed it for his own ego.
